Tanya Brings her Classics to the Opry
Tanya
was the featured artist on an Opry show with plenty of class and classics.
She shared the stage with Janie Frickie, Lynn Anderson and up and comer Ashtyn
Shepherd.
Tanya performed three songs from her new cd 'My Turn.' The crowd favorite, Tanya came on stage dressed in a blingy black outfit to 'Wine Me Up'. 'Love's Gonna Live Here' got everybody's toes tapping with Porter McClister (lead guitar) doing double duet duty. Tanya nailed Merle Haggard's 'Ramblin' Fever'. The set came to an end all too soon as Tanya started out 'Amazing Grace' and segued into 'Delta Dawn' with Larry Gatlin, Lynn Anderson and Janie Frickie singing backup -- I gotta tell ya, that was nice.
Tanya closed the show and waved good night. Tanya's mom was in attendance and got an on-stage hug. We also ran into Grayson after the show, who insisted (lol) Kathy take a picture with him.
Welcome Back Miss T, you have surely been missed.
