The Saturday during Fan Fair week a group of us made the trek to Tuckerville to bid farewell. Alabama Dee made it known that one of the things she wanted to do during Fan Fair was to see Tuckerville before it was turned into a golf course/housing development. So me (FL Dee), Alabama Dee, Casey, Natalie and Mark (Wayne didn't make it with us on Sat as initially planned) climbed into Alabama Dee's Toyota Scion for the ride from hell (lol -- I ain't kidding)...we were starving so we stopped off at an excellent Deli recommended by Nashville Natalie and then continued the wild ride to the rural town of Arrington/Triune (not sure which town Tuckerville is actually in). The closer we got to Tuckerville the more excited Alabama Dee and Mark got and the more stressed out Natalie got. With Al Dee driving and Natalie riding shotgun giving directions we arrived at the gate to Tuckerville to find it OPEN.... without hesitation Alabama Dee drove right on through. (The discussion had been to go to the gate take some photos with our tuttfs shirts on and call it a day!) I thought Natalie was gonna die!! We drove down a winding road that finally revealed TTs mansion. We stopped quite a ways from the house and took a bunch of goofy photos (to be posted later when I have time) of ourselves with the Tuckerville mansion in the background. Finally we are done with all the picture taking... or so we thought.... Fl Dee and Natalie are ready to go -- we figured we had pushed our luck far enough seeing as how we didnt have an invitation!! Alabama Dee and Mark were not ready to leave until they went up to the front door.... that is about when Natalie started hyperventilating..LOL..that ain't no lie either... BTW...in all fairness here...Fl.Dee told ya'll how stressed out Natalie was....what she DID'NT tell yall is that she was JUST AS STRESSED OUT AS NATALIE was....ROTFLMAO....Casey along with Mark and I had NO FEAR!! I figured the worse that could happen is we would all end up in jail...and at the time...I just could'nt think of a BETTER reason to go to jail, than to walk up and knock on TT's front door and offer to help her move her stuff!!! |

Ok, let me see if I can finish this story without getting "edited" again...LMAO...if you've read the other post by TNCOWGIRL, then you already know most of it! After we went in the gate and drove up her very long drive way, (ya can't see the house from the road) we stopped and took pictures of Fl.Dee, Casey, Natalie, Mark and I bidding our final farewell to Tuckerville!! We all felt like we were loosing one of our best friends with Tuckerville being sold!! After the pictures, we (I drove, Mark rode shotgun, Fl.Dee & Natalie were hyperventalating in the back seat, Casey was eagarly watching to see what we were gonna do next)and we drove up and parked right next to the UHaul at the front door! Mark and I got out and proceeded to go up and knock on TT's door, while Natalie and Fl.Dee were ducking in the back seat of my car, and Casey was beggin her Mom to let her go with Mark and I, but I think Fl.Dee figured Casey was too young to go to jail...LMAO..but she finally gave in and let Casey go to the front door with us. |

So Mark and I go up to the front door, Mark knocked and I rang the doorbell, but nobody answered. But since the House is so huge, we figured we better give it another shot,cause TT's car was there, the UHauls were there and a few other cars. So we knocked and rang the door bell again. then two ladies came to the door and asked if they could help us. We told them who we were and that we were from TTUTTFS, I was the one TT had autographed the tatoo, and the lady said, "well, I'm sure she remembers you"..LMAO...(ya think she remembered me after the fashion show Wed. Nite, and I took off my shirt and showed the whole place my TT tatoo...LMFAO)So she went to tell TT that we were there offering to help her move her stuff. |

Okay, so now we know that TT is actually there, and the lady is going to get her, so Mark and I tell Fl.Dee and Natalie to get out of the car, and come up on the porch with us. A few minutes later, the lady comes back and said TT say to tell ya'll thank you very much for coming by and offering to help her move, but that she thinks she has it all under control and that she's sorry she can't spend more time with us. She said TT would not call the sheriff on us and have us arrested and that we could look around the property and asked us if we wanted to take any of the dogs. As much as I would have like to, they were all big dogs, and I already have a dog and 3 ferrets..so we did'nt take any of the dogs..especially cause we would've had a hard time sneakin them in the hotel!!!LMAO |

Oh yes, Miguel, unfortunately I DO remember the "chunks"...and if I should EVER forget...Natalie and Fl.Dee took me back there a couple days later to see where the stains were still there, and they even took pictures of it!! I have a feeling I'll NEVER live that one down...LMFAO!! |

So as we're leaving to tour the rest of Tuckerville, Natalie and I find 2 playing cards, one was the ace of diamonds and the other was a king, I can't remember what suite it was, Natalie has it, so she can tell ya, and we decide we are going to keep them and try and get TT to autograph them the next time we see her. Then the 5 of us get back in the car and proceed to tour Tuckerville. We went to the barn and saw her horses, and saw Grayson and Nelson's 4 wheelers that they used on Tuckerville, and we even saw the lake where Grayson & Nelson's babysitter had to jump in the lake because he lost the bet during one of the Tuckerville espisodes. We also stopped at a little gazebo that TT had and took pictures there. Then we checked out the guest houses and later left. After that, we all stopped at TGI Fridays and ordered magarittas all around and toasted our final farewell to Tuckerville!! It was fun and sad at the same time if you can understand that. Sad to know that there will be no more Tuckerville shows from that place!! I can't even begin to imagine how sad TT and the kids must feel, leaving there after living there so long!! Oh, another thing I almost forgot, do ya'll remember the Tuckerville espisode where Billy Jo Shaver signed his autogrpah on one of the pillars on the front porch??? Well, we say it and Fl.Dee and Natalie too I think took a picture of it..it's still there. The place is absolutely gorgeous, and I hate to think they are going to go in there and tear it all up for a golf course community and her mansion is gonna be a club house!!! Seems like a waste of a beautiful place to me!!! and yes, I'm soooo glad we went, even if I would've been arrested, it would have been worth it. We also scooped up a bunch of rocks from the driveway and brought them back for keepsakes! My son asked me what I was gonna do with all those rock I brought back and I told him I was gonna sell them on ebay for $10 buck a rock...LMAO...that's what I told him, but I would'nt sell them for any amount of money!! |

One of TTs dogs was kind of cute...the red hound dog (I obviously don't know the breed)..... he licked both of my feet! maybe he has a thing about nail polish...... as we are out on the highway, (me, Casey and Mark in the backseat) all happy that we accomplished the mission and weren't going to jail, I said, "Who stepped in dog shit?" Dee immediately pulls over and we are all checking our shoes (including Casey)and Casey said to me, "uh, don't worry about it mom." We could have killed her.... ...as we are driving back to Nashville, we talked about buying some refreshments or stopping in somewhere to get drinks (we actually ended up doing both!).... we go to TGIF for some EXCELLENT margaritas and they had all these cool albums on the wall from the 70s..... you guessed it, there was a Glenn Campbell album on the wall. I thought Alabama Dee was going to tear it off the wall! (She settled for a picture instead -- will eventually get it up). The last night we were in town we went to a truckstop for a late nite/early morning breakfast (that is the night I never went to bed) and they had a very cool mural on the wall of the opry and several of the Opry stars.... they also had displays from other artists here and there... and once again Glenn Campbell. Alabama Dee tried to convince the waitress to take the Glenn Campbell stuff down, but instead the waitress PROMISED there would be a wall with Tanya Tucker next year. I think we are planning on taking the stuff for her to make a display.... we are gonna have to get on ebay and get some albums, 45s and posters to give her. Alabama Dee made it back in time for Tanya's performance.... as it turns out, Tanya was an unadvertised addition/surprise guest to the Chely Wright Reading, Writing and Rhythm Benefit... SHE ROCKED THE HOUSE...Noody got a bigger reaction than T.... the audience stood during her entire set (not anybody else's btw).... anyhow getting late.. more later (oh yeah, it was really cool to hear that many ppl sing along to Delta Dawn... Wildhorse is a pretty big club and it was PACKED).... |

PM well, we stayed up too late last night and didn't make the kick off concert at the Riverfront. Last night was the Fashion Show at Hard Rock.... it was supposed to be an event for 250 ppl but there was a lot more than that crammed in a very small space. (Good thing the fire marshal wasn't there -- it would have been a bad thing). Anyhow, several unhappy campers (including my feet today -- standing in boots for hours and hours ain't a good thing). If any of ya'll read the post that was actually posted last night (and deleted this morning btw) at Hard Rock, well then you would know Natalie (aka Queen of Excess) and Alabama Dee were drinking a lot of bubbly. Alabama Dee is still sleeping right now. (Me and Casey got up late but had to come down to the Sommerset Center and replace a ticket that was lost yesterday). Anyhow, TT and others modeled a bunch of clothes and a few artists performed a song at the very end. Ty Herndon did a kick-butt acoustic version of Living in a Moment and Tanya did an acoustic version of 'Love Me Like You Used To' with Marcia singing back up vocals. TT showed up a little late and didn't quite make it into the parade procession, but was the first entertainer on the stage after the parade to welcome everybody and kick of the party..... we have already met up with some very cool TUTTF fans: Natalie of course, Wayne, Genaro and Chris, Glenn, Janet, Lisa, Danny, Bobbie and another Lisa : ) -- I personnally think TT fans are the coolest fans here at this whole shindig. Hopefully we will catch up with Mark on Saturday. |

LOL.... when Tanya came on stage to perform the emcee asked who was the biggest TT fan and Alabama Dee ended up on the stage, after god knows how much champagne, and showed everybody her tattoo from the stage... god it was funny. Anyhow, Alabama Dee gave the emcee a TUTTFS shirt and it was given to TT on stage. TT said she has great plans for her website and is revamping... cool deal! We were all a little worried about what Alabama Dee would do and say on that stage, cause just a little bit earlier there was a very uncool fan who was making somewhat derogatory statements about TT and said fans. It was a close call, all of us keeping Alabama Dee from whooping this woman's a$$. We definitely had some rowdy fans there tha night. More late.... we got Casey's ticket replaced and are on our way...Oh yeah, plans for tonight: Marcia's gig at the Commodore Lounge -- we will have to see if we can stay out of trouble tonight ; ) |

We are finding that the folks on the stage performing most definitely noticed our Alabama buddy was having 'too much fun' lol ..... anyhow, we will hit th riverfront today for music and the Opry tonight.... I gotta get Alabama Dee out of bed first tho. AM ok GUYS, I'll have to tell ya all about my escapade on the stage after the Fashion Show at the Hard Rock Cafe, and a little "gift" I left them on the red carpet....to make a lonnnnng story short....I last counted 20+ glasses of champagne I drank, not counting Natalie's (QOE), I left it ALLLLLLL ON THEIR BEATIFUL RED CARPET WHEN I LEFT.....LMFAO...INCLUDING ALL THE "CHUNKS" OF HOR'DOURVES with it!!!!! I was sooooo pissed at those people at the Hard Rock, they pack 300 people in this little bitty room like sardines in a can, NO CHAIRS..and we paid $50 each for a ticket to this gig.... so I decide I'm gonna drink my $50 bucks worth of their champagne...and I DID!!!! LMAO....and I left every last drop of it along with the "undigested" chunks of their crappy hor'dourves all on their pretty little red carpet!!LMFAO!!! There is more to this story, but I'll have to tell ya'll all about that later when I can actually see these freakin' keyboards..... |

The show at the coliseum last night was one of the best shows at CMA fan fair I have ever witnessed!!! Me, Alabama Dee and Casey stayed til the end. Two best performances of the night imo: Miranda Lambert and even I am having a hard time believing that I am saying this: Big and Rich!! (never thought those words would come off my computer). Lot of other good performances but those were the best. (I made it home in one piece -- never did go to bed last night -- stayed up talking with Alabama Dee til I had to leave for an early flight...it is 10:30 Nashville time and I know Alabama Dee's wake up call ain't till 11:00 - so she won't be home for a while. PM A few highlights of my trip before I log off here were: Meeting Tanya and Presley after the parade, meeting everybody from the TUTTFS, the nightly concerts, meet and greets and convention center and drum roll please...LOL...Went to Bourbon Street Bar in Printers Alley after the nightly shows on Sunday night and guess who was in there??? Big and Rich and Gretchen Wilson. Too cool. They did an impromptu show that was killer. Got some awesome pics with all 3 of them. Went out to Tuckerville yesterday (Mon.) the gates were open, so I put the pedal to the medal and drove on in. (You're a bad influence AL Dee...Ha) Tanya, Presley, Layla and LaCosta were all there and got some unbelievable pics. I even had to hop on Grayson's 4 wheeler. Anyways, once I get them downloaded, I'll send them your way. Hope everyone had safe travels back home! |

I don't think Alabama Dee remembers it that well... here is what I can tell ya: we were outside up front on the sidewalk and Dee was standing next to me.. we were talking to a bunch of people. Then I noticed she sat down on the sidewalk.... then a few minutes later Casey tugged on my arm and said "Mom, I don't think Alabama Dee feels very good" when I looked again she was LAYING on the sidewalk and had upchucked on the pavement... I think Casey is the only one that actually witnessed the event. OHHHHH, but I was SOOOO PROUD of my little production!!! I did it very quietly...nobody heard a thing!!!LMAO...Natalie (QOE) is allergic to puke!! Who knew????LMAO She almost puked after seeing my puke!!! Then she came to our hotel room afterwards cause she left her car keys there, and I leaned over the side of the bed to get something, and had to run to the bathroom to my very close "porcelen friend" and get rid of the rest of my champagne and hor'dourves, and Natalie could'nt run out of our room fast enough!!!LMAO Unfortuneately, Fl.Dee and Casey had to lay there and listen to it....sorry about that girls...that's the price you pay for sharing a room with Alabama Dee!!! But hey ya'll, Fl.Dee said they "razed" me about it....LMAO....that in itself would'nt have been too bad,...but no...that was'nt enough for Fl.Dee, Casey and Natalie, they actually took me to the Hard Rock a couple days later to show me and take a picture of the sidewalk where I puked!!! Yes, it was STILL there...LMAO...I'm quite sure fl.Dee will post that picture for all of ya!! Don't worry tho'..I'm NOT embarrassed...all the Hard Rock had to do is set up some folding chairs and I would'nt have been pissed at them and set out to drink my $50 worth of champagne!!!!!LMAO So in my "state of intoxication" I figured they deserved it....LMAO...maybe next year they'll put some chairs out instead of making us stand there for 3 hours drinking their cheap champagne and eating their crappy hor'dourves!!! But at least the money went for a good cause!!! |

All you guys who want to go to Fan Fair next year and could'nt go this year cause you could'nt get off work, need to put in those vacation requests NOW!!!!!!No excuses for next year, we expect everylast one of ya there, and hopefully we can talk TT into doing a fan party. At Chely Wrights gig at the Wildhorse Saloon, Chely had about 100 of her fan club members there and they all got front row seats!!! So we need each and every one of you to try and get the time off, and start saving up some money, so we can all go next year and show Tanya that Chely Wright ain't got nothin' on TANYA's FANS!!!! So ya'll get crackin' with those vacation requests, you need to book rooms NOW...if ya have to cancel at the last minute, you can still do that without having to pay anything...but ya need to get your room reservations NOW!!! And if you want decent seats, you need to get your tickets as soon as possible!!! We want to get as many of us to go as possible to show Tanya how many GREAT fans she has from the "Totally Unofficial" fan site!!! |

BTW, we did finally find out why TT missed the Tractor Race...turns out she hurt her back while moving her stuff out of Tuckerville and into storage....don't know how bad it was..but I do hope she recovers soon and is'nt in too much pain...I know what those back problems can do to you...it ain't fun at all!! I know all of us here at TTUTTFS wish Miss T a speedy recovery....I can't live without seeing her dance to "Some Kind of Trouble" a few thousand more times before I die!!LMAO Get Well Soon..Miss T!! PM I too made the trek to Tuckerville "uninvited". The gate was open and I wasn't about to let the opportunity pass by knowing the property has been sold. IMO, it's Tanya's true fans who helped pay for that property and I have no regrets in going there. They must not have minded it to much because I rode away with an autograph that reads, "Thanks for coming to see us in Tuckerville". And of course, I too have several more comments to make, but since they will probably get "EDITED" I'll just leave them all to you guys imagination!!LMAO But let me clarify something here, we drove up and got out and took a few pictures with Tuckerville in the backround. Then we properly went up to her door and rang the door bell. Two ladies answered the door, and we told them who we were and that we were from TTUTTFS, and mentioned that TT said at her performance at the Wildhorse Saloon on Tues nite, June 5th, that she was busy moving, and if anyone wanted to help. So we told the ladies who answered the door who we were, that we were from TTUTTFS, and that we were there to help her move. One of the ladies said, yes, she was there, and went to let her know we where there.The lady came back to us at the front door and said TT was very glad we dropped by and offered to help, but that she thought she had it under control and that she was sorry she could'nt spend more time with us, and that she DID NOT mind if we looked around the property, and even asked us if anyone wanted any of the dogs?? Now to me, tresspassing is when you go onto someone's property and you DO NOT tell them that you're there!! We did tell her we were there and what we were there for!!! I personally spoke to her twice during fan fair week, and she knew exactly who I was both times, and at the parade, she even asked me to show some of her friends my tatoo!!! I don't claim to be her personal friend, I'm just a HUGE fan of hers! And quite frankly, I think her "PERSONAL" friends have much better things to do than to come on one of her fan sites and make derrogatory remarks about her fans, the one's who pay her bills, buy her cd's, go to her concerts, etc. I have personally heard TT say that the only thing that would upset her, is if the fans STOPPED asking for their pictures with her or her autograph and tried to see her. So I highly doubt TNCOWGIRL is a personal friend of TT's, but probably one of those people we hear from every so often on this site that don't have a life, except to make other people think they know somebody famous!! If's that's the only thing she has to brag about with her life, then I really feel sorry for the TNCOWGIRL!!!! |

hi first of all i just wanted to say i am a new fan of tanya. i went to see her last year in PA for the first time, actually my very first concert. oh and hello to everyone :-). i very much enjoyed seeing her and will again in july. i also would like to say in regards to tncowgirl, a true fan would let others have their own opinions and not judge other fans for having their own idea on how fans should be. also, tanya herself put the invitation out there first of all which joking or not, was an open invitaion. by this open invitation whether u think so or not was not trspassing, unwanted, or anything. if it were therefore she would have pressed charges or call the police. any normal person would if they had some unwanted person at their home, which i kno tanya to not take slack from anyone. she is her own person, let her decide what she wants and what she dictates to her fans tncowgirl!! if u r in fact a true friend of hers then u would also know that her fans mean everything to her, afterall they are who got her where she is now and where she will be in the future. so as for your comments, if not anything nice about her fans who undoubtedly stick by her, unlike some people who obviously do not respect her, then please have common courtesy to not open your mouth and to not make yourself look foolish and immature by saying foolish and immature things. btw tncowgirl, grab a dictionary and check out what the meaning of a "fan" is. if you really think hard, it's probably not you. no disrespect intended but please be positive and influencing if u comment to or about others. thank you |

As I was driving up to Nashville for Fan Fair last Tuesday, I saw an exit for the Jack Daniels Distillery, the sign said it was only nine miles off the interstate...so I make a mental note to myself..I'm gonna stop by there on my way home and check it out and buy me some Jack (which I figure the prices will be much cheaper there and her in Alabama) but I don't have time to stop on the way up, cause we have tickets to the Wildhorse Saloon and Chely Wright's concert gig, and I cannot be late!!! Fl.Dee has already called me and said she and Casey are already at our hotel, so I gotta keep going! |

So, with all the activities of Fan Fair, I completely forgot about my plan to go check out the Jack Daniels Distillery until I'm on my way back home...when I see the exit again! I look at my watch, yep, I've got time to go check it out, so I get off at the exit and proceed to the distillery! One thing I have to insert here, before I tell ya the rest, is that someone backed into my car in the hotel parking lot while we were at fan fair and put a dent in the back of my car and tore the rear bumper loose. Fl. Dee and I checked it out after returning from the nightly concert at LP field Sunday nite, and saw the damage...but the bumper was intact when I left for my trip home! Loose, but still hangin' on!! LMAO....hmmmm...guess I could've titled this story..."HANIN' IN, HANGIN' OUT, AND HANGIN' ON"....lmfao!! |

Up walks the officer (who is extremely good lookin' I might add) and asks for my license and stuff. He glances at it briefly, then asks me if I had HIT anything recently??? Duh....no, not that I remember...I thinK I would remember hitting something! So then he ask me to step out of the vehicle. Ok...I step out of the vehicle...now he says.."put both hands on the hood of the car"....oh shit...what's all this about??? So I bend over, put both hands on the hood of my car, and then he asks me if I have any needles, knives, guns or drugs on me???? UHHHH, NO, I don't! So he proceeds to "Pat Me Down"...(OK, Now I'm scared as shit, and the only thing I know to do is to make a joke out of it) so I say, could you move your hands a little bit over to the left..no..little bit further..ah yes..that's it"..ROTFLMAO! Once he's convinced that I don't have any needles, knives, guns or drugs on me, he asks me to step to the rear of my vehicle. So I walk back to the rear of my vehicle, and he points to my bumper, which is hangin' on by a thread, and asks me how that happened??? So I tell him I had been to Fan Fair in Nashville all week, and last night somebody hit my car, but when I left the hotel that morning, it was still intack, and it must have worked its way loose, cause it was scrapping the road!! He proceeds to tell me how dangerous that is, and I totally agree with him, it could've fallen off and hit somebody's windshielf behind me!! So I'm telling him how sorry I am, and how glad I am that he stopped me to tell me about it! |

Soooo, I'm thinking that's the end of it. He tells me to just take that part of the bumper off and put it in the back of my car. Ok, so I'm trying to pull the damn thing off, and it won't budge. Evidently he's not allowed to help me do it, cuase he could be liable for destroying my property or something like that. So he tells me how to get it off, and I get it off and proceed to raise the back door of my car to put it in there and he tells me to wait! Ok, I wait! Meanwile, he's talking on his radio, running my license plate and driver's license, I assume. Next thing I know, a second cop pulls up, and they tell me to stand over on the side of the road so I won't get hit with oncoming trafffic...duhhhhh....I already am standing on the side of the road. So the two of them have a little chat, the the first cop comes back over and asks me if I have any weapons, drugs or alcohol in the car???? And I say "noooooo"...whups...I almost forgot, there is an open bottle of tequilla and an open bottle of Amaretto that my buddy Natalie gave me, and they are both in my ice chest!! Oh shit, now I'm thinkin' they're gonna haul my ass in!!!! |

So after they're almost done going through every freakin' thing in my car, the good lookin' cop asks me if I got any good autographs at Fan Fair??? And I said I sure did, and I pull my shirt up and show him my TT tatoo!!!!ROTFLMFAO!!! Then his face lights up and he says..."Ohhhh you like Tanya Tucker???? I absolutely Love her" he tells me. Then he proceeds to tell me all about the time he met her etc, etc, and then apologizes for putting me through all this, and he hopes he did'nt "inconvience" me!! Hell no, you did'nt inconvience me, you just took out all my clothes on the side of the freakin' highway..that's all!! Then he keeps talkin' about TT, etc, etc, as he's putting all my stuff back in my car....and could I leave well enough alone?????? OF COURSE NOT!!!! I proceed to sing "Highway Robbery" to him....LMFAO..."Ok Officer...I admit it...I was speedin....but before you write me up let me tell you the reason...I was'nt trying to outrun you...I was chasing the guy with eyes of blue...he commited a crime back about a mile or two...." And I kid you not...the cop totally CRACKS UP LAUGHING!!!!! As I'm getting back in my car, I pull down my sunglasses and say..."by the way...WHAT COLOR ARE YOUR EYES???" At that point he was really laughing, tipped his hat to me and said..."Have a Nice Day Ma'am"!!! |

Tracy...I highly recommend the Ramada Inn Ltd., right across from the LP stadium!!! They have an indoor guitar shaped pool that's really neat! The rooms are nice, the people who run the hotel could'nt be nicer...and best of all, all the nightly concerts are at the LP Stadium, so no matter how drunk you are, all you have to do is crawl across the parking lot to the hotel!!!Believe me, I know every freakin' inch of that parking lot!!LMAO However, I will say this, the price of hotel rooms during Fan Fair is really high, expecially compared to Alabama, so I recommend you get somebody to go with you to share a room and split the cost! No way could I have afforded to have a room by myself, but if ya got the money, go for it!!! The other nice thing is they run shuttle buses from the stadium to all the activities down town and they are really nice air conditioned buses with plush seats (its a real shame that some people throw up on them!!LMAO, not mentioning any names, of course!) However, all the hotels in Nashville fill up really fast, so you need to make your reservations YESTERDAY!!! And believe me, you DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO DRIVE IN DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE DURING FAN FAIR!!! (Just ask Natalie, aka our chauffer last week!!) By the way, THANKS AGAIN NATALIE, you were so much fun and such a great tour guide!!!Now as for places to eat...my very favorite was Jack's BBQ on Broad St. in downtown Nashville!!! I've NEVER had such fantastic BBQ Brisket in my whole life!!! And my Dad makes some great brisket!!! (I sure hope he does'nt read this, but I'm not too worried, he and my mother don't like TT!!)Oh well, that's the way it goes! Now I just know you'll never guess this, but my FAVORITE drink was MARGARITAS!!!!!!And we sampled them everywhere we stopped, but IMHO, the BEST one's were the one's I made in the hotel room!!! Yes, I took my blender with me along with the Tequilla and Margarita Mix and salt!! Now Fl.Dee, Casey, Wayne, Mark and Natalie probably have different opinions, but those are mine!!! |

2:22 AM Hey, Tanya fans!! Tanya is scheduled to come to VA on July 4th. The only country radio station in Va. Beach is Eagle 97. They play only contemporary country music. No Tanya and her concert is not even listed on their site. I'm just wondering why there's been no PR about the show. Tickets are $5 on Ticketmaster. I'm just worried the whole thing will be cancelled. I did email the radio station. They still didn't update their schedule. Also, Tanya is coming to the airfield in Fort Monroe. Who schedules the shows? I know she can get much better coverage. |

Hey Dennis, we feel your pain, brother! Same thing happened with the concert posted for Panama City, Fl. on June 2nd, TODAY, as a matter of fact, it's on her "official site and schedule" I booked a hotel, and then started trying to find where to buy tickets, even called the Chamber of commerce, her publicist and her booking agent...NADA..ZIP...ZERO...NOTHING!! Since the Chamber of Commerce told me there was nothing for her scheduled any where in that area for her, I just cancelled my hotel reservations. Nothing has ever been said about it or corrected or nothing on her Official site. Even Troy in Winnipeg, Canada can't find out anything on her concert she has listed to do there either! Don't know what's going on, can't seem to find out a dang thing!!!Good Luck tho!!!If you can buy the tickets through ticketmaster, then it must be a sure thing!! The one's I've been trying to check out have NOTHING listed with Ticketmaster!! Good Luck, let us know all about the concert and take pictures for us!!! |

That way, you'll be able to spot each other and it gives this fansite the advertisement!!! Ya know what??? Now that I think about it, that ***** at the fashion show looked alot like the ***** that broke my nose at the Reba concert!!!LMFAO For those of ya'll who don't know what we're talking about, there was a lady (and I use that word loosely)planted right smack dap in front of the runway at the fashion show, and she took up a good 3-4 feet of space..LMAO...she had her camera on a tripod and NOBODY could see OVER her, AROUND her, UNDER her, or THRU her!LMAO So one of the Nashville TT fans when up to her and politely asked her if she minded moving over just a little when TT came out on the runway, so she could get a picture??? (Keep in mind, there are more TT fans there than any other fans) and the ***** told her that TT was nothin' but a sl_t!!! Well, the TT fan came back and told all of us what she said, and I, OF COURSE, was NOT gonna let her get AWAY WITH THAT!!! Yes, I was pretty well snockered, but that did'nt have anything to do with it!! I tried to go up and talk to the *****, but Natalie and I don't know who else kept pulling me back..that went on a couple times, then Natalie was left in charge of me! LMAO...never leave a drunk in charge of a drunk!!! So, I told Natalie that I thought she had lost her earring, and pointed to the floor, and when Natalie bent over to look, I took off to confront the "TT Hater *****"!! I walked up to her and whispered in her ear, "Hey I heard you called TT a sl_t??? She looked at me and said, "you're drunk", so I said "and You're a *****" then she said "you're a drunk *****", to which I responded, "well, at least I'm only a ***** when I'm drunk...you, on the other hand, must be a ***** all the time!!!!" Then I left her standing there and grabbed another glass of bubbly! And guess who was sitting right smack dab in front of us at the Tractor Race??? Yep, you guessed it, the very same *****!!! Dee-I always liked Jon Waites voice - solo & songs w/ the Babys... He's an original sound like Tanya, Elvis, etc... But I agree w/ the fact that he & Allison K do not go well. They should stop that mismatch of sounds now...Shes a total opposite sound..He has some good Hard Fast songs & sings the mellow ones great too...I always go to see him if reasonably close... Bob, I'm not sure about all the hotels, but ours is like $150 a night, that's why we shared...and the tickets for the whole week are about the same, I think! Depends on what section you're in, of course the "nose bleed" seats are cheaper, and you can just get day tickets, but they are like $43 a day!! Better to get them for the whole week!! Maybe Wayne can tell you how much his hotel was??? |

PM We booked thru a tour company for 2007 and are using the same company for 2008. We like the hotel's central location and greatly enjoyed our seats for the nightly concerts. For 2008, 5 nights hotel accomodations and passes for the nightly concerts at the stadium in Section E, Row 12, we are paying $855.00 per person. They only require a $100.00 deposit per person upfront and the remainder is due by 04-02-08. |

PM The 4 day passes also get you admittance to the daytime concerts on the riverfront, admittance to the convention center for meet and greets and we also got an offical program, lapel pin and a bag full of other goodies. I highly recommend getting a group of your friends together and share a hotel room, which will greatly reduce the per person price. |

One more thing I might mention...Tanya had two gigs before Fan Fair even started...one on Tues. nite at the Wildhorse Saloon, Chely's Wright's annual benefit, and the other was Wednesday nite, the Fashion Show at the Hard Rock Cafe! So if you're planning on going, you may want to make your hotel reservations for the whole week! Oh yeah, she also did a Bowling Event on Monday night that we did'nt find out about till after we got to Nashville. So next year, I'm planning on being there Monday morning thru Sunday night, that way we should'nt miss anything. Also, might need to plan on taking the whole week off, depending on if you're driving or flying!!!If TT does NOT end up being in any of the pre-Fan Fair events next year, you can always go to the Opry on Tues. Night!! If I lived in Nashville, I think I would be at the Opry every weekend!! It was awesome!!! |

Wayne, is the price you quoted $855 the cost when sharing with just one person?? that will help with ppl who are budgeting and/or planning. Here is something I learned the hard way.... unless you go through a company that offers a package deal (tickets and hotel) you are not going to be able to book a downtown hotel via the internet. You MAY be able to look up the phone numbers and reserve that way. The downtown hotel situation during fan fair may have changed, but I somehow doubt it. And as Natalie can tell you, driving in Nashville during Fan Fair ain't fun!!! Half the streets are blocked, the other half are changed to "One Way", it takes ya hours to get out of parking lot at LP stadium....FlDee and I missed out on a "Live Radio Broadcast" on Saturday night cause we could'nt get out of the parking lot, and we left a good 30 min. before the concert was over!! Mark and Natalie did make it to the radio gig tho. |

Something else to think about that may make the trip more affordable and pretty much just as enjoyable. The stadium (right next to our hotel) has very reasonable parking rates for the week of fan fair. A lot of ppl do find cheaper rates just outside of downtown and then park at the stadium and shuttle OR walk that lovely bridge over the Cumberland (lol). Anyhow, since our hotel is very easily within walking distance, a little down time could easily be spent haning out with other TUTTFS fans there. PM Yeah, I was eager to book and I could only find one other friend here in town that was a definite so we are each paying $855.00. The hotel where we stayed this year and will be staying in 2008 is located at 170 4th Avenue North. It was very convenient to 2nd Avenue/Broadway, Convention Center, etc. However, we took a taxi to the stadium each evening. It was 4 of us, so we each paid $2.00 roundtrip. We drove this year but are flying next year. The drive there wasn't bad because we were excited but the drive home sucked. Plus, our hotel only had valet parking and it was $20.00 per day. We actually arrived in Nashville on Tuesday and checked into a hotel off Music Row. I think it was the Comfort Inn (I do know it's the old Shoney's Inn) It was directly across the street from Flavour. I actually enjoyed the hotel because they did allow smoking in the room and they had a great free breakfast bar. |

Since our package for 2008 is only for 5 nights, I think we are going to do the same thing again next year because I would like to be there for the whole week again. Wayne, give everybody an idea of the price range for the comfort inn so they can do some planning! And Wayne is right ya'll, parking is at a premium downtown. One of the great things about the Ramada... plenty of parking for hotel guests and it is free. (Plus they have an indoor pool and they are right across from the stadium).... Don't be at all surprised if this CD becomes Tanya's 17th Gold Record. (Even though we know in reality TNT is platinum and Tanya's MCA hits has to be gold.. but MCA no longer certs older catalog) It is selling EXTREMELY well on Real Player.. you cannot download it song by song. you have to download the entire CD... it sells well on I TUNES and Wal Mart also.. most of the Definitive Collections issued go gold at the minimum.. i walked into work today and the lady that sits at the front of my aisle held up a copy of it as I walked by. She said "Look what my husband ordered!". I said, "Smart man!!.".. GO TANYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.... 29 more days to the Oroville, California concert.. 75 per cent of tickets already sold.!!! |

10:00 PM This still is a mystery and the music industry is very tightlipped about it. My guess is yes, they would have too as an artist's entire album is being downloaded. I just found out that the way ITUNES reports its sales is every 12 downloads constitutes the sale of one CD. Of course these figures are just from the number of downloads regardless of the artist. So now I would have to think that every 12 singles downloaded by a certain artist would give that artist the sale of one CD, but since they are singles from different albums, no album is certified based on it. Sorry if this sounds confusing. |

Any news on the new CD I was at cmt.com I think I looked under T's Cd's they listed "Lonesome Town" buy now I clicked of course what TT fan wouldn't right???? no song listings shock shock & I couldn't buy now so I would think it has to be pretty close.I'm on a roll now would anybody be willing to get me some TT shirts when you guys go the concerts? Hey Dee I'm about 300 miles or so I was gonna go to Hinckley Minnesota they had really good seats do you think i could find anyone to go with me HELLLLL NO!!!! I seen that she was in Yankton South Dakota man I was squealing than I realized I was loo kin at 2006 does DEPRESSION mean anything to ya? Hey, if nothin' else, go by yourself, there's sure to be a thousand or so more people that you'll have something in common with...LMAO! You'll meet new TT fans...that can't be all bad!! LOL Nobody's sure exactly who is running the TT Official site now, but TT did say at the fashion show during fan fair that she has plans to redo it in the near future. I think she's had a pretty rough year with losing her dad, selling Tuckerville, making a new dvd and cd....I'm sure she'll be back in full force....until then, we are all here to keep her going till then!!!! I'm not sure what Ron does for a living...but I do know he's a great guy and a great TT fan....are'nt you Ron??? You know you can get one of our "The Totally Unofficial Tanya Tucker Fan Site" t-shirts by clicking on the "Cafepress" link on the home page....they are NOT the Official shirts...you can only get those at one of the concerts or you can get one of the one's she has on the Official site. Hey bebop... I clicked on the paparrazi link and it probably expired.... this is a daily kind of report and they apparently don't keep them up very long... the gist of the report was from the paparrazi guy who saw Tanya in California... apparently TT will be in CA a few months meanwhile kids will be doing some acting. Mr. paparrazi also commented on how genuinely nice TT is -- a common trait he has found in country music artists... AM Hey ya'll, lets get an event that is TUCKER-TUFF next year for fanfest...what do ya'll think? I think it would be VERY COOL for T to get crackin' on a cutting event/rodeo? She loves to cut horses and ( so do I). The kids 6-10 yrs old love the sheep ridin', chasin' greased piglit's and maybe a little Gymkana (barrel racin', pole bendin', quadrangle and single pole...lots more and to much to mention). I think the adults would love it and I know the kids would. T has so many friends in the BIZ I think she could pull this off. All she would have to do is mention it and the stars would have her back..just a thought! She needs to get movin' with something so this might be in her best interest....give me a comment or 2...think about it? |

As far as the cuttin' horses thing goes, I can't think of where they could have that in downtown Nashville??? I tell ya what, almost all of the people who were at the tractor race this year were there to see Tanya, and they had her scheduled to go last!!! Then they started playing "Delta Dawn" over the PA system, and Michael Peterson ended up driving it instead of her. We later learned that she had hurt her back moving some of her stuff into storage...but there were alot of disappointed fans there!!If T ain't in it next year, I'm not sure how many people would actually go watch it??? |

PM I think that's a great idea. She would definitely be in her element. On the day we drove out to see various star homes, I noticed that Franklin, TN seemed to have lots and lots of horse farms. There was a ton of them in the area where Ashley, Wynonna and Naomi Judd live too. I think it was called Leipers Fork. It was cool to get out of the city and drive around, some really beautiful countryside in TN. I even loved the drive up to T's house cause she was so far off the road and her property just seemed so peaceful and full of nature. |

I think Al Dee is correct. The DVD being released on July 17th is a reissue of an old concert done in like 1986 at Church Street Station. It is NOT the new one from Dickson... DERN IT!!!!! |

AM Hey, Tanya fans!! Tanya is scheduled to come to VA on July 4th. The only country radio station in Va. Beach is Eagle 97. They play only contemporary country music. No Tanya and her concert is not even listed on their site. I'm just wondering why there's been no PR about the show. Tickets are $5 on Ticketmaster. I'm just worried the whole thing will be cancelled. I did email the radio station. They still didn't update their schedule. Also, Tanya is coming to the airfield in Fort Monroe. Who schedules the shows? I know she can get much better coverage. |

Hey Dennis, we feel your pain, brother! Same thing happened with the concert posted for Panama City, Fl. on June 2nd, TODAY, as a matter of fact, it's on her "official site and schedule" I booked a hotel, and then started trying to find where to buy tickets, even called the Chamber of commerce, her publicist and her booking agent...NADA..ZIP...ZERO...NOTHING!! Since the Chamber of Commerce told me there was nothing for her scheduled any where in that area for her, I just cancelled my hotel reservations. Nothing has ever been said about it or corrected or nothing on her Official site. Even Troy in Winnipeg, Canada can't find out anything on her concert she has listed to do there either! Don't know what's going on, can't seem to find out a dang thing!!!Good Luck tho!!!If you can buy the tickets through ticketmaster, then it must be a sure thing!! The one's I've been trying to check out have NOTHING listed with Ticketmaster!! Good Luck, let us know all about the concert and take pictures for us!!! |

Shelly and Dennis, we're still trying to find out about the one in Unadilla,Ga. on Labor Day weekend, I think it is!! We can't seem to find out anything on that one either!!! Why don't all of ya'll who are going to the concert on the 4th of July get one of our "The Totally Unofficial Tanya Tucker Fan Site" shirts and wear them to the concert?? That way, you'll be able to spot each other and it gives this fansite the advertisement!!! You WOULD NOT believe all the TT fans who came up to Fl.Dee and I at Nashville and said they read our site ALL the time! They even knew who we were, even tho' we did'nt know them until they introduced themselves!!! Everybody wanted to see my tatoo, I don't know why I even bothered to wear a shirt at all....LMFAO!!! BTW, if you order one now, there's still time to get it before you go! I'm not trying to push the shirts on anybody, cause we don't make any profit on them, only the company who makes them does! Hey Tracy and Al.Dee, we had such a good time, and got some good pics and videos. As usual Miss T put on an amazing show. She was absolutely gorgeous,looking 20 years younger! Of course she was running on Tuckertime as always, but she made up for it in the end. I will be putting up the pics for you guys. I hope we get to meet sometime! I met C at this concert. I want to hang out and party with you Al Dee!!!! |

Well, it always held in Nashville, the first week in June, I believe....Fl.Dee help me out here....the tickets are about $150 for the whole week....our hotel is about $160 a night(but I think its already booked) if I were you, I'd go thru the company Wayne used, they do the whole package...hotel and tickets....I think he said it was $800 and something per person, double occupancy! Wayne, what company did you use????? |

The hotels may not be booked already or if they are booked it is likely they will have some cancellations. But, more than likely you will not be able to make reservations via the internet... sounds weird I KNOW, but that would be my experience. (Not the downtown hotels anyway -- the hotels outside of downtown its business as usual). You can definitely call around... Wayne did use a company to book tickets and I know of others who have gone the "package deal" route. Country Weekly (George Strait on the cover again!! no kidding) covered all of the events TT participated in during CMA Fest Week -- there are pictures of TT participating in the bowling event (front and center), the Chely Wright event (picture with Chely) and the featured photo in the Fashion Show. yeah i agree, alll her albums are all the same, like i enjoy them, especially All Jacked Up, but like you said dee, it does get old. I like her because her music is pretty close to traditional country music, which i like. |
