My guess is because they were all in negotations (sp) If it is still on TLC, and the timing is still April, my guess is there will be a Tuckerville marathon leading up to the premier (sp) of the third season....

I think we should all give ourselves a big "pat on the Back", cause I think all our emails to TLC showed both them and Tanya how much we all loved the show, and they both realized how popular it really was as a result of all the emails and feedback! Another thing I just thought of, "Tuckerville" was really responsible for launching Presley, Grayson and Layla, cause very few people knew much about her kids until "Tuckerville" aired. I noticed that both Presley and Grayson get alot of feedback on the show on their "MySpace" message boards! Therefore, I think Presley and Grayson began to realize how much the show did to "make them famous" so to speak.

Totally agree with ya Michael! I feel very strongly that CMT is a better forum for "Tuckerville" and will do more to promote her career, as well as Presley, Grayson and Layla's careers if they so choose, than TLC. Quite frankly, I'd never watched TLC before "Tuckerville" and have not watched it since "Tuckerville" went off. So I vote for CMT, cause God knows they need some better programming!

Very well spoken and I agree 100%. Altho, I did kinda like Little People, BIG world but I think that show has since been picked up by another network, whatever, got tired of wearin' my readin' glasses to watch anyway...my bad?

Awww man, I did LOVE the prom episode alot with one of the boys. Just hard to take the Dad sometimes but MOM cracks the whip AND she is bigger than he is. I do like it and still watch. TLC screwed up losing T-Ville but one net-works loss is another net-works GAIN......CUMMON TUCKERVILLE

Guess I better take out a subscription to "Country Weekly" or 'George Strait Weekly", lol, cause every time I go to get one at Walmart, they're all sold out! I'll check a few other stores, but the only way I know I'm gonna get a copy for sure, is to get a subscription! Kathy, that was a very good idea to have them do an article for Beau Tucker's memorial fund! Way to go girl!

Yes, I do recall... cause it was cool: "Take Me Back to Tulsa" .... it was a hoot when Presley sang the part..."Who's the girl with the red dress on, some folks call her mama". I think the photos with the 35 mm camera on Monday and Tuesday will be a little better (camera and flash were behaving those two days). Yeah, they even had a strobe light that they put to use during "Lizzie and the Rainman". Whoever is in charge of the Showroom got to spend some money on lights.

Well, I can honestly say I have never had a closer seat before.... I don't think it is possible to have a closer seat and not be on the stage. I was telling another fan, the Fire Marshal in Vegas didn't exactly get the minimum required width for the front aisle, so yeah.... the seats were VERY close. I remember Tanya saying one night (probably the first night)..."wow, I feel like I could reach out and touch you guys".

...lol....drama-cranky was not responsible for the close shots, but who knows, it may be why I couldn't get the 35 mm to work right on Weds. That Nikon D50 is most likely gonna be under the Christmas tree : ) I used my current 35 mm at Casey's recital last night and a few of the shots NO FREAKING FLASH again!! The camera is officialy on my shit list.

I just got the Sony Alpha-100...They are a bit different, but I love the idea of not having to buy film anymore....Thanks for the pics...I can hardly wait to see more.

... me too!! I haven't picked up the developed photos yet -- oughta be able to do that tomorrow : ) Yeah, I am going digital. I have more than one camera freak for a buddy... my buddies as well as the camera geeks at the camera shop all say the same thing -- that Nikkon is the ultimate digital camera for ppl like me (not a professional but not a beginner either and don't want a complicated piece of equipment). One of my friends gives me an update everytime Nikkon comes out with a newer/better camera -- and they just did -- supposedly even easier to use than the previous model. Bob, tell me how you like your new Sony. Do you have the same basic lens and features you had with your 35 mm?

That is it exactly. Minolta was bought out by Sony...Sony (thankfully) decided to keep with the Minolta fittings, etc...so all of my lenses and accesories from the Minolta, work with the Sony. I do notice the camera is a bit heavier. I am becoming more familiar with my tri-pod...lol

that is cool that you can keep the same lens -- didn't know 35 mm lens were campatible with a digital type camera!! I do know lens for a manual camera are not campatible with a fully automatic. Looking forward to your next batch of photos -- they are always good!

Dee/Danny, great photos from Golden Nugget. She looks so different from the cruise just a few days earlier. I think her hair looks fantastic so different and the quality of the photos is superb. I agree that Presley now needs to get serious about performing, otherwise Layla will soon be overtaking her.

I agree Peter, Tanya really looked sharp in Vegas - hair/outfit etc. I really hope she keeps the longer hair. I will say it again: the Monday concert was the best I have ever seen. I picked up two rolls of film -- there were some duds (freaking flash) but also some good ones!! Got lots to do this weekend and will be short on time, but will do my best to get them up this weekend -- I think ya'll will be impressed with a couple of the photos - I was! I agree -- we have some pretty good photos that turn up on this site. Oh yeah, the photo of the keyboard player doing his Ray Charles turned out pretty good, so I did get some better photos of the band. Little digital camera just can't do the same thing a "big digital" or a 35 mm can.

I was eating lunch at work at an Ale House (sports bar/restaurant kind of place) and much to my surprise heard Tanya's version of 'Let it Snow' off the new cd 'Still Believin in Christmas' Haven't heard it anywhere else -- thought it was cool that the new song made it onto somebodys Christmas song repetoire. (80 plus degrees here btw -- I know I am going to pay later for bragging; Tank tops and shorts in December - LOVE IT!)

The Salsa isn't in production anymore.... even if you found some on ebay (which I have seen before) it would be too old to eat. I don't think the clothing line exists anymore either. Speaking of clothes.... I really liked that black leather jacket with the cow hyde (for lack of better terminology) print that TT wore in Vegas -- If Tanya gets tired of it she can send it my way!

speaking of salsa......... The best salsa I have ever had was at Don Pablo's.... they make it fresh daily I have been told .... I try different salsa from the grocery store all the time and can't really find any I like or comes close to Don Pablos. Who knows of some good store bought salsa OR who has a good recipe (yeah, I need the DP's recipe)

Hope this job is not too big for everyone...LOL.. Tanya has recorded so many songs... WOW, how lucky we are to be such fans of a star with her longevity... WOW!!!!...over the years after purchasing new TANYA CD's I have tried to pick which songs that the label would release as singles.. I think Capitol Records really missed the mark with the chosen singles from FIRE TO FIRE.. but if you wanna know my opinion on that just read my review on AMAZON.COM.. actually I have reviewed about 15 of T's CD's on there.. anyway. i am getting long winded here.. i thought it might be fun for us all to list 5 songs we think should have been singles from T's albums but weren't.. ready, set, put your thinking caps on.. GO....
1. Temporarily Blue (from Love Me Like You Used To)... i truly feel if this had been a single from that CD it would have been her first platinum CD.. but HEY . it went GOLD)
2. I Wonder What He's Doing Tonight... WHAT A FUN AND WONDERFUL SONG.. She opened a concert I saw in Sacramento with this one. SO FUN!!!!!
3. Shame On The Moon.. This is from the album Changes... I read where she asked Arista to release it as a single but they chose "Cry" instead. Bob Seger released it later and had a MONSTER HIT with it, even crossing over to country..
4. Everything You Wanted Me To Be... this gem from What Do I Do With Me. .is SO HOT.. Reba McEntire did a version on one of her albums. ( I won't mention which version I prefer. HA HA)... a dj friend of mine actually mixed the two together.. but DAMN.. I never got to hear it...
5. You Know Just What I'd Do.. from the album. You Are So Beautiful... WOW.. I LOVE THIS SONG.. COUNTRY, SASSY TANYA at her BEST.. WOW...I read a review once of Tanya's TNT in a magazine. It said . Tanya's idea of winning an audience isn't like Dolly Parton's as in to leave 'em clapping.. but rather to leave 'em gasping.. YAY YAY.. GO TANYA!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL.. the review in Billboard the week it was released to radio raved about it and said that if country music does not recognize the fact that they are much in need of an artist like Tucker and this kind of single, instead of the fluff they are playing, that there was something seriously wrong with Country Music.... and in my opinion they were right.. Ridin' Out The Heartache went to #40.. and fizzled.. I RARELY listen to country anymore... oh well.. again.. thanks to everyone for their input on this subject.. ALL GOOD CHOICES.. Seems like "Shoulda Thought About That" and "He Was Just Leaving" lead the pack.. i am also with FL DEE.. If "I Can Do That" had been released from Tanya things might have been VERY different.. I am sure someone along the way will record that one and have a BLOCKBUSTER on their hands. She said she first pitched it to George Strait but he passed.. Maybe one day he will consider it to be "the one that got away".. BYEEEEEEEEEEe

Hey Dee, I noticed your post about "What Do They Know". I have to put on my thinking cap and go back thru the years before I decide on my list but "What Do They Know" is definitely in my top 5. Did you ever hear Tammy Wynette's version? It is on the "Without Walls" CD. Although I always loved Tammy's version, I think Tanya blows it out of the water.

Michael, it is the TT on the net story for today -- several of the publications commented about TT and Glenn being in Vegas at the same time.... I don't know how true the story is, if TT really made an effort to show up at Glenn's concert -- but I about died laughing about Glen having issues with his golf cart. Ron, I remember that People review....pissed me off too. I do like a couple songs on the album, but overall it is not her best work. If memory serves, it was also one of People's 10 worst albums of the year. With all that said, my vote goes for the album that followed Should I Do It....LIVE.....piss poor. Any fan of Tanya's who has seen her live knows that this is a very poor representation. The two new songs, Somebody Buy This Cowgirl a Beer and The Night They Drove old Dixie Down, in a word, crappy. C 'mon Dee and Dee, TNT went Gold...Top 2, Tanya was nominated for Best Female Rock Performance Grammy, only to lose to Donna Summer (Bad Girls, the academy's version of Rock that year was a bit off). Tear Me Apart...Some of her best singing...Heavy sigh....I will never convince them...LOL.....

is still in the shop after two months. I wish I hadve
gotten more photos of the outfit she was wearing
