The
Tucker Family put on a shindig at the Wildhorse Saloon and billed it as the
'Tucker Family Christmas.' Tanya performed with her daughters, Layla and
Presley as well as LaCosta's daughter, Cali.
The highlight of the night was the huge surprise Tanya pulled off -- she presented LaCosta with a 1965 baby blue Mustang convertible for her birthday. I am not sure how you hide a car inside a saloon, but they did!
Tanya talked about her family during the concert and even talked to her Mom with the audience via cell phone. She told everyone how much they all missed her Dad and then went into how LaCosta had picked up where her dad left off with the business end of things and how much she appreciated everything LaCosta has done. Tanya said she wanted to give LaCosta something "special" to show her appreciation. All of a sudden, some guys took the cover off the '65 Mustang that was hidden in plain sight.
LaCosta was sitting at a table
very near the stage and then turned around and saw the Mustang that Zach (her
son) had been guarding all evening. The thrill and shock was plain to see
-- LaCosta was genuinely surprised. That is one Tucker family secret that
stayed a secret until the special moment.
LaCosta was so blown away that she couldn't even speak. She made her way to the car, reading the home made sign that said "Happy Birthday LaCosta Love your sister". Then she opened the door and sat in it and cried tears of joy!
